With four USB ports readily available, this charger will make you popular with friends and family on longer trips, because it allows simultaneous charging for four different devices.

Charging time is also reduced, which makes this powerful charger even more appealing for travelers. What is important to mention, is that its power capacity does not impact weight, and LimeFuel 15600mAh is easy to fit in any pocket.

At 50USD, it is more expensive than other models reviewed here, but this does not necessarily detract from its advantages. The rubber finish may not be for everyone.

Breett 10,000mAh

Best Power Banks - Breett 10000mAh Power Bank

Breett 10000mAh is a nice looking charger that can hold two devices at the same time, in case you need both your tablet and phone up and running while on the road.

The sleek design is also a recommendation, and portability is not an issue either. However, it is advisable to get this charger when on sale, because the listing price of 50USD is a bit too steep. Currently the cheapest we could find it was around $20, this deal may not be around for too much longer though!

AllPowers 50,000mAh

Best Power Banks - AllPowers 50000mAh Power Bank

However, the listing price in stores is about 70USD, so you may want to purchase it when it goes on sale or you can pick it up on Amazon for half the price. Its looks are something to write home about though.

This is a really great review of power banks! We have a couple that we use when we travel, one from Lenmar which is pretty good as it is really portable and a Sony one which is a little more heavy duty but less portable.

Power banks definitely saved our butts in Asia! We had 2 between the both of us. We heard the Lenmar power bank worked great! Thank goodness for power banks!

Thanks for this, very helpful. I am after a powerbank that will charge my laptop as well as be charged through USB (via a 15W solar panel). If you have any ideas for this I would hugely appreciate it.
    Thanks!

      Hi Jon,

We agree that a power bank that could charge your laptop would be awesome. We found one that charges Acers and other windows computers but nothing that chargers Macs yet!

      Hi KT,

We did not use a power bank for our laptops as they have only invited power banks for Acer and Windows computers. We both have Macs but I am sure you could purchase the larger power banks and find a converter if you have a Mac, if you have an Windows check out this Power Bank.

    I have 3 powerbanks at 10000mAh each.
The advantage of having 3 (or2) smaller ones instead of one large capacity one is that while one is charging my phone/tablet the other one is being charged.
It also makes it easier to carry a phone connected to the battery bank in a jacket pocket…as one often ends up with a flat battery after long photo/video sessions.
    Good review BTW

I bought many portable chargers and they all start to fade away and don’t hold up as much power compared to when I first bought it. Maybe these other brands might be better I will have to give them a try. However, ill suggest the Powergo ss 5000 from techgetgo.com Its not put on the list here surprisingly. I have owned this product for about a little over 4 months now and I must say its my new must have portable charger. Its recharges so much more faster then the previous power banks I owned. It recharges itself so quick that I can feel its like 15 times faster charge speeds then any other portable chargers I have owned including my new Qualcomm Q.C. 3.0 portable charger I also bought from amazon to give it a try. the power bank pretty much finished charging itself in like under 15 minutes. When I use it to recharge my iPhone it recharges not as fast but I can tell it charges much faster then my wall charger. I would have to recommend the powergo ss 5000 to anyone who wants a really quick charging power bank.
